How to create a job in the app

This lesson will show how easy for you to create a new job using the ServiceM8 mobile app.

To create a new job, go to Jobs tab and tap ( + )

Enter the client name or company name

ServiceM8 automatically detects if the client already exist for you to select otherwise you will have to create one either tapping New Company or New Individual.

With the ServiceM8 address lookup, it will automatically detect the location as you type in.

Complete the contact details

Enter the job description and set the job status

Once done, tap Save

Select how you will dispatch job to your staff member

Schedule or Allocate job allows you to assign it to a staff member and select booking suggestion or manually set duration, time and date. Once done tap Book

Urgent dispatch allows you to see which staff member is available to take the job and conflicting bookings.

Here you tap a staff member to select and tap Dispatch to assign booking.

If you wish to book the job in later time then simply tap Cancel and it will then go to unschedule list.

That's it, you're done!

The job is now on your phone and will automatically sync with your online account. Now the job is created you can navigate to the address, create and send invoices and much more.
