Create your account

Sign up at servicem8.com or through the iOS app. The setup wizard walks you through your business details, logo, and preferences.Create your account

Add your staff

Create logins for everyone who will use ServiceM8 — office staff and field techs. Each person gets their own login with a security role that controls what they can access.Set up staff logins

Choose your invoice and quote templates

Pick a template that matches your business. You can add your logo, banking details, and terms and conditions.Choose templates

Connect your accounting software

Link ServiceM8 to Xero, QuickBooks Online, or MYOB so invoices and payments sync automatically. Skip this step if you do not use one of these packages yet.Connect accounting

Import your clients and price list

Bring in your existing client list and materials/price book from a spreadsheet. This saves you from re-entering everything manually.Import data

Run your first test job

Follow along as we create a job, schedule it, complete it in the app, and send an invoice. This takes about 10 minutes.

Go live

Make sure you and your team are ready. Clear out any test data, pick a start date, and run the go-live checklist.

You do not need to set up everything before going live. ServiceM8 is forgiving — you can change settings, templates, and workflows at any time. Start with the basics and add features as you need them.
