If you have a job which requires immediate attention, it doesn't make sense to schedule it in a calendar. It needs to be allocated to a staff member to complete as soon as possible.
This is where Urgent Jobs are used.
To schedule a job as urgent, simply drag the job onto the staff members icon on the dispatch board.
A pop-up will appear, prompting you to provide a brief message to the staff member. This will immediately notify the staff member via their iPhone, including instantly displaying the relevant job on screen.
In addition, the job will also be added to the top of their schedule as an Urgent Job pending completion, and will remain allocated to the staff member until it has been completed.
You can also allocate job as urgent using the app as shown below:
Open a job
Tap Allocate then enter the details and make sure you set the booking window to Urgent
Note: The Schedule/Allocate option is only visible if you have the Job Allocations add-on enabled. Otherwise, only the 'Schedule' option will appear.
Once done tap Book and it will immediately assign to your staff member.
