No, you do not need to connect ServiceM8 to one of the supported cloud accounting packages for it to work. ServiceM8 works fine as a stand-alone job management solution where you reconcile invoices separately. However, we definitely recommend connecting ServiceM8 to Xero, QuickBooks Online, or MYOB.
