Does ServiceM8 provide support for custom development or the API and SDK?

Understand the self-serve support boundaries for ServiceM8 API, SDK and custom development, and how to ask the developer community a question safely.

Using ServiceM8’s APIs, SDKs and development tools, including Addon Kit, is a self-serve experience. You or your developer are responsible for setup, development, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of your custom add-ons and integrations.

ServiceM8 Support cannot provide development advice, write or review custom code, or troubleshoot the setup or behaviour of your custom add-ons and integrations. This includes projects built with the API, SDK or Addon Kit, whether you write the code yourself or use an AI coding assistant.

Start with the ServiceM8 developer documentation. If you need hands-on development assistance, you can engage an independent Developer Partner. See your options for custom development.

Can I ask the developer community?

You can search existing discussions or post a question in the Developer section of the ServiceM8 Community. Participation is optional, and responses, response times and solutions are not guaranteed.

The forum is public. Before posting, use made-up example data and remove passwords, API keys, access tokens, account identifiers, client or staff details, and other sensitive information from your text, code, logs and screenshots. Review any AI-drafted post before sharing it.
