# How do we transition our ServiceM8 account after a name change, rebrand, or business merge?

Below are various settings and configurations in your ServiceM8 account you may want to review:

* Stripe account connection (if any): have you connected ServiceM8 to Stripe for payment processing, and do you need to review this connection or connect a different account?
* Accounting package (if any): is your account connected to Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online, and do you need to review this connection or connect a different account?
* Payment and banking details on quote and invoice templates: do you need to update payment instructions in **Settings** > **Document Templates**?
* Messaging templates: review details across all email and SMS templates, including automation templates, especially where text is typed directly rather than using merge fields.
* Forms: review any business-specific forms.
* Add-ons: review all active add-ons, especially add-ons that involve external enquiries, bookings, imports, or third-party billing.
* Preferences: review all settings in **Settings** > **Preferences**, including company information.
* ServiceM8 subscription payment details: review the credit/debit card used for your ServiceM8 subscription in **Settings** > **ServiceM8 Account**.
* Staff and security roles: review current staff access and security roles.
