# How do we activate the automatic credit card surcharging with the new version of ServiceM8?

To automatically pass on card payment processing fees, in the Online Dashboard go to **Settings** > **Preferences** > **Invoicing** > **Card Payments**, choose how you want processing fees handled, and save.
