# Discontinuation of third-party add-ons by ServiceGuru

> Learn about discontinuation of third-party add-ons by ServiceGuru in ServiceM8.

## What is happening?

ServiceGuru (an independent ServiceM8 Partner who offers third-party add-ons to ServiceM8) has announced they will be ending the provision of their add-ons and services, with a final end date of 1 February 2025. You should plan for the scenario that any ServiceGuru add-on you use will completely stop working, and you will not have any access after 1 February 2025.

**Your ongoing access and use of ServiceM8 itself will not be affected** by the discontinuation of any third-party ServiceGuru add-ons you may be subscribed to.

If you make use of a third-party add-on by ServiceGuru, you will need to review the relevant workflow and consider how you might be able to achieve similar outcomes via other means, such as existing ServiceM8 functionality and add-ons, other third-party add-ons in the ServiceM8 Add-on store, the functionality available in your accounting software, other apps in your current “app stack”, and/or workflows you can build yourself between ServiceM8 and other apps via Zapier.

Keep in mind that ServiceM8 has released a lot of functionality over the years, so there’s a good chance you can achieve similar outcomes (entirely, or partially) with existing ServiceM8 functionality.
