# How to train staff with the Learning Roadmap
> Learn how to train staff with the Learning Roadmap in ServiceM8.
The ServiceM8 Learning Roadmap is a structured series of short help videos and articles to help you get the most out of ServiceM8. It starts with the basics of how a job moves through ServiceM8, then progresses through core concepts all the way to advanced features and business process enhancements.

## Why use the Learning Roadmap?
Use the Learning Roadmap to:
* Train your field staff on ServiceM8 basics
* Train your operations staff on ServiceM8 basics and advanced features
* Uncover ways to use ServiceM8 to increase business efficiencies and delight your clients
All training is done independently, and at the user's own pace. It's a great way to onboard new employees, and to review best practices with existing employees.
At the end of each level, there are actionable steps that you can take to implement the learnings into your business. There are also exciting rewards for completing levels, so take advantage of this free benefit for your business!

## Who should use the Learning Roadmap?
All team members, from field staff to office staff to business owners, can benefit from relevant material in the Learning Roadmap. (Note: the Learning Roadmap is only accessible to staff with a security role of **Default Staff Role** or higher. To learn how to change security roles, see [this article](/help-center/desktop/faq/how-to-change-a-staff-members-security-role).)
While all staff members should, at minimum, complete Level 1, we recommend that managers and owners complete all levels and use their discretion to set training goals for the rest of the staff.
***Tip for success: Choose a core concept to review together during a team meeting, and brainstorm with your staff about how to best incorporate it into your business.***

## Accessing the Learning Roadmap
**To access the Learning Roadmap from the Online Dashboard:**
1. From the main menu, click the **Help** icon.
2. Click **Learning Roadmap**.
**To access the Learning Roadmap from the ServiceM8 iOS App:**
1. Tap **More**.
2. Tap **Learning Roadmap**.
