This lesson will teach you how to turn send an email reminder 24 hours prior to a booking and an SMS reminder 8 hours prior to a booking. This lesson assumes you have already activated the Booking reminders Add-on.
That's it. This customer will now receive an email reminder 24 hours prior to the booking and an SMS 8 hours prior to the booking.
When making the booking it's important to note the following rules surrounding when it will send an email or SMS.
- SMS messages are only sent between 8am and 9pm (reminders after 9pm will be sent 8am following day).
- Bookings scheduled within reminder time-frame will not receive SMS.
- Email reminders are sent regardless of time of day.
- Bookings scheduled within reminder time-frame will not receive email.
